This cleansing and calming Sunrise Stovetop Potpourri is a soothing and beautiful way to begin your day. It’s simple, natural, and clears the air - both literally and spiritually. The scent is so relaxing and fresh, and it requires just a few ingredients.


Sometimes I’ll wake up, bring a pot of this to a slow simmer, and just continue adding water throughout the morning to cleanse the air, vibes, and energies.


Simple practices like this can cultivate the kind of calm and balanced energy that will stick by you for the day, week, month, year ahead. Combine this with some sweat, meditation, journaling, and intention setting, and you’ll be setting yourself up for manifestation magic.

Cook Time: Maintained Simmer


Ingredients

1 lemon, sliced into ½-inch slices

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 sprigs fresh rosemary

3 (2-inch long) slices fresh ginger

1 teaspoon ground cardamom

1 cinnamon stick


Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium size pot. Bring 6 cups water to a simmer. Keep over low heat for as many hours as desired. Keep an eye on the pot to check water level, adding water as needed throughout the day. Once you’re done, discard ingredients.
