Here’s the scoop on this delicious guacamole! First of all, it’s begging to be enjoyed with classic summer snacks and dishes like chips and crudités, juicy burgers fresh from the grill, or as an accoutrement on a vibrant charcuterie board when you’re entertaining friends and family. In addition to this, it’s super simple to whip up! All you need is a few ingredients and under 10 minutes to enjoy the timeless spring and summer recipe.

Prep Time: 10 Minutes


5 ripe avocados, halved lengthwise and pitted

1/ 2 cup diced tomatoes

1/ 2 cup finely diced shallots or sweet onion

Juice of 1 lime

1/ 3 cup chopped fresh cilantro, (more or less if preferred)

1 1/ 2 teaspoons sea salt, plus more if preferred


  1. Add all ingredients to a molcajete or large bowl. Use spoon and/or pestle to combine and mash. Season with as much additional sea salt and chopped cilantro as is preferred. Serve immediately.
